Why do we think it is funny

In our culture today, the internet takes up so much of our lives. We always laugh when someone tells us to look up or what are you going to do when that thing isn't in your hand anymore; well it true. Our society has become so invested in our phones that we laugh at the memes and commercials that were actually trying to explain a social problem. We take these serious messages and change them into something funny just to try and get attention well what about those people that need actual help or trying to fight to get you to see their side of the problem. I have reviewed material on many different topics but every one has some distorted piece to make someone laugh. Our society has a problem because we are pushing important topics under the rug, to get the Facebook like or the commercial with the most views. The commercials that are actually doing their part to help make an end to a problem are the ones that get removed from television as fast as their shown or reported on Facebook as being to graphic. When is the culture going to change and start working together to fix the problems.
